The following are some of the significant terms and conditions applicable to bets placed using the SKYbet system.  To review terms and conditions, go to www.tab.co.nz . 

1. Requirements:  You must have an existing TAB Account and Personal Identification Number ("PIN") to use SKYbet.  Existing customers with TAB "Phone Bet" or "Internet" accounts may use their existing account details to place bets using SKYbet.  To obtain an account, go to any TAB retail outlet.  The use of a correct PIN for a TAB Account by a SKYbet user shall be sufficient to establish liability of the TAB Account holder for the amount of such bet.  Neither SKY nor TAB shall have any obligation to further authenticate SKYbet usage.
2. Bet Values:  The minimum transaction value for a bet placed using SKYbet is NZ$2.00 for all Totalisator bets.  The maximum transaction value for a bet placed using SKYbet is NZ$100.00.  The TAB will not accept bets using SKYbet where there are insufficient cleared funds in credit in the account holder's TAB Account.
3. Payment Mechanism:  All bets placed using SKYbet will be debited to the SKYbet user's TAB Account automatically upon acceptance of the bet by the TAB.  All dividends will be credited to the SKYbet user's TAB Account.
4. Acknowledgement:  By using SKYbet, the user agrees that once their bet has been transmitted, the TAB Account holder will not be able to cancel, withdraw or amend the bet and that, upon acceptance by the TAB, such bet will form a betting contract, whether or not the TAB Account holder has received confirmation of such acceptance through SKYbet.  The SKYbet user acknowledges that the TAB may refuse to accept any bet using SKYbet without giving reasons for its refusal.
5. Liability:  SKY will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in any way related to the placing of bets using the SKYbet system, including without limitation delay, interruption or failure in the performance of the SKYbet system. 
6. 6. Information:  SKY collects certain information about each bet placed over SKYbet, which SKY shall be entitled to use subject to the SKY Interactive Privacy Policy (see website or call 0800 759 343).
7. Complaints:  Any complaints or disputes regarding bets placed using SKYbet must be addressed to the TAB by calling 0800102 106.  The TAB Rules provide that the TAB will not investigate nor accept liability in respect of claims alleging that bets have been placed incorrectly where such bets have been placed through any device other than a telephone betting operator terminal.
8. The Rules of Betting apply to all bets placed. 
9. The TAB reserves the right change the Terms and Conditions.
