For the next 15 months simply tune into RugbyCentre (Wednesday nights 7.30pm on the Rugby Channel & SS3) and rank the greatest players below.
Firstly, all entries go into the weekly draw to win a pair of Asics boots or trainers, so please state your size and preference below. And each week for the month of September the winner will also recieve Keith Quinn’s ‘A-Z of Colin Meads’ book along with the Asics footwear.
For those who match the expert panel and correctly select the players ranking will go in the monthly draw to win a Greatest XV jersey.
We are also pleased to confirm the grand prize: Two tickets to the Opening ceremony of the 2011 World Cup and the opening match All Blacks v Tonga at Eden Park on 9 September, 2011, including and travel, transfers and accommodation.
Monthly entries close last day of each month at midnight.
To recap the jersey winners so far:
- No 1 - Ken Gray
- No 15 - Christian Cullen
- No 2 - Sean Fitzpatrick
- No 14 - John Kirwan
The Greatest no 3 is Olo Brown, by a whisker, in the closest race so far! The panel voted overwhelmingly for Brown ahead of the others while the public preferred Hayman with Brown 2nd , but Brown recorded the best average overall. Knight and Loe followed.
Congratulations to Carl Redshaw of Tauranga, winning the no. 3 jersey.
And congratulations to Joe Leggat of Christchurch, winning this week's Asics Trainers and Meads book.
