So this year the Rugby Channel plans to give you more of what you have been loving the last few years.
Yes, we will again cover LIVE and EXCLUSIVE 1st XV Rugby. After 2 successful years on the Rugby Channel, the exposure of our best 1st XV's around the country is to be expanded again with a feature match every Saturday afternoon starting from April 28 through to the Grand Final on Sept 15 and then 3 Tests involving NZ Schools in early Oct. In all, 33 matches spread evenly throughout the country, some of the biggest and most famous Colleges and Schools will battle it out up for national supremacy.
Also on the Rugby Channel for the year, you will see all the European competitions on show including the Heineken Cup, the Magner’s League, French Top 14, Guinness Cup, Anglo-Welsh Cup, the European Cup Challenge and the Japan League.
‘RugbyCentre’, the channels weekly magazine show, hosted again by Ian Jones and Mel Robinson, continues again to bring insight in to all the personalities and characters in the game. On top of all that are the All Black announcements, the coveted Steinlager Rugby Awards and numerous replays of every Test, Super 15, ITM Cup and 1st XV Rugby matches played throughout the year.
