MAY 2015

Hi everyone! It’s no secret that Kiwis love their sport. Whether it’s cheering on one of our own or getting behind an underdog, we can’t get enough.

So we’ve got plenty of great sporting events lined up this month, including one of the most anticipated fights in boxing history. Six years in the making, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will finally face off on 3rd May and we’re bringing it to you LIVE on our Pay-Per-View channel, SKY ARENA.

From one big rivalry to another, the Kiwis are set to take on the Kangaroos in the annual Anzac Test, while the hugely popular BLACKCAPS head away on their tour of England. Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal will attempt to create history by winning his 10th title at Roland Garros.

Entertainment serves up another bumper month as well. I’ll be tuning into Kingdom, a brand new MMA series coming to SKY Movies Action, starring Nick Jonas as you’ve never seen him before.

The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies comes to SBO with American Sniper, plus we’ve got heaps of fantastic new and returning series like The Walking Dead, Wayward Pines, The Casual Vacancy and Bear Grylls: Breaking Point.

Be sure to check out our giveaways for plenty of great prizes on offer, including Kiwis BLK supporter packs, and find out how you can get in the draw to win a Galapagos Island Adventure for two worth more than $20,000 with National Geographic Channel!

Our recipes this month come courtesy of Makatu sisters Kasey and Karena Bird and their brand new cookbook, For The Love Of…, so make sure you try them out.

Until next month, a very happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mums out there. If you’re lucky enough to have your mum with you, make sure you spoil her rotten, and if not, treasure the special memories you have of her.
