SEPTEMBER 2014

Whether it’s a massive Hollywood blockbuster or a right royal tear-jerker, most of us love to escape every now and again with a great movie
.

This month we’ve got movies galore and something to satisfy every couch critic. From Thor: The Dark World, Rush and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire to Blue Jasmine and the first four Harry Potter films, there is something to keep every member of the household entertained.

We are serving up a bumper month of programming with new gems like The Musketeers and Halt And Catch Fire alongside old favourites The Flintstones and The Jetsons as part of our new JONES! Junior block. Over on factual you’ll find more goodies including Wild Things With Dominic Monaghan and some gritty new shows coming up on CI.

The ASP Surfing World Tour is in full swing on its very own POP-UP channel, plus there’s rugby, boxing, UFC and heaps more.

We catch up with Kiwi golfing star Lydia Ko in this issue as well as legendary Kiwi rockers Shihad, ahead of their one-off, exclusive LIVE show from Christchurch on SKY ARENA. See page 35 for all the concert details. Legendary baker Dean Brettschneider shares some delicious recipes from his new book, and we’ve got some fabulous prizes that are well worth winning, so make sure you’re in the draw.

Until next month, enjoy the first few weeks of spring and make sure you spoil your dad on Father’s Day on Sunday 7th. Plus, daylight savings starts Sunday 28th so don’t forget to put your clocks forward an hour before you go to bed!
